The debut of the book at Pages Bookstore in Manhattan Beach went very well – articles were printed in the Easy Reader and Beach Reporter, the two local weekly papers. To celebrate the release, I made a batch of rum punch from Charles Dickens’ recipe, which was decanted from a stoneware jug that dates from the 1880’s. I also served a rum cake made from the recipe in the book – it was a grand time. Thank you to all who showed up!
